Incheon Harbor (South Korea) is  the beach that allied troops entered during a massive receding tide.  The title of my work was Flags Of The Spirit.  The flags were reams of corregated paper imprinted with footprints of the marching American troops on the sandy beach.

The installation fills the entire room from the ceiling and is woven with rolls of eastern and western newspapers and paper covered barbed wire resembling the rising tides.
